TECHNOLOGY MATTERS
Inside the Virolens machine is a holographic microscope designed to look at nanoscale structures. When a sample is inserted into the machine, different light streams are projected to create identifiable diffraction patterns.
Using artificial intelligence, the machine analyses the sample and compares it to the unique pattern of the virus, giving a clear positive or negative result. All of this happens in approximately 20 seconds.

SPEED, ACCURACY AND COMFORT
The Virolens test kit includes a standard swab and test cartridge. The test is easy and comfortable, requiring a self-administered swab inside the cheeks, near the wisdom teeth. Once finished, simply break the swab and place it inside the top of the cartridge. Then drop the sealed cartridge into the top of the Virolens machine.
After approximately 20 seconds, Virolens gives a clear positive or negative result with a unique, scanable QR code. Below is the visual you see when scanning the QR code. Alternative methods for sharing results are available, as needed.

The chemicals needed for PCR and lateral flow (aka antigen) tests are in constant short supply. Laboratories are also under constant strain. With each new variant, the chemical reagents must be tweaked and this takes time, money and supplies. The current testing strategy is not sustainable; the world finally acknowledges it.
